These are top down socks worked in a round. The STRONG heel is worked in both rounds and back and forth rows. Each round is fully described stitch-by-stitch in order to make it convenient to knit both with DPNs and with circular needles using the magic loop method.

The description is made for three sizes:35-36 37-38 39-40. Each size is described separately and highlighted in its own color, so that you can easily return to the description and not look for the right size for a long time.
