Hood and Shoulders is a stitch-by-stitch pattern which is very interesting to work.
It is worked top down with back and forth rows. First the back is worked, then the left and right shoulders. After each shoulder is worked we knit them together. Hood is worked with picked up stitches in the neck area bottom-up.
The pattern is made in two variations. One with cables all over the front yoke and other with cables on the right side of the front yoke.

In the pictures caramel hood is made with Lamana Como - color Caramel 30 (size 1). The brown one is made with Lamana Como - color Macadamia 48 (size 2).
Materials needed:
Yarn - 125 g of Lamana Como 25 g - 120 m 5 balls, 125 g of Cardiff Cashmere classic 25 g - 112 m - 5 balls, 140 g of Regia Premium Merino Yak 100 g - 400 m - 2 balls.
Gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10х10 cm in stockinette stitch after washing.
Needles - Circular needles: 3.5 mm US 4 80 or 100 cm 32 or 40 inches, 3.5 mm US 4 40 cm 16 inches, 3 mm US 2.5 40 cm 16 inches.
